Something to take note of: eight years ago when (then) newly elected President Barack Obama took office our second graders in Meynardo Gutierez's class wrote letters to him. The class was honored when he wrote back thanking them for their good wishes. This letter and a photo had been framed and on display in our Main Lobby display case for the past eight years. A few weeks ago, the Morse School had a package arrive. As part of his out going plans, President Obama, wrote back to both the teachers here at the Morse and the students who sent him letters eight years ago!
