Monster Trees
By: Tyler
Leg-like roots,
Hiding underground.
Arms are clinging.
Together.
Dancing in the wind,
Their tempting eyes lure
You into a hug.
Woods
By: Ida
Woods are real?
What if woods weren’t real?
What if stars weren’t real?
Woodlands
By: Xavier
The woods are lovely.
Wooden.
Smile
By: Aryana
I smile like I am out of space
my teacher is laughing
and I am smiling
I start saying to my teacher
I smile like I am out of space
my teacher is a great smiler
A Dog Died
By: Ethan
So when
I get home
I have
nothing to do
so when
I get home
I look
in the kitchen
and I see no dog to feed
The Best Crab
By: Ian
I spy a crab
I am amazed with all its legs
It observes me I observe it I pick it up
It feels so polished
I drop it in the water
And whisper
Good bye
