2014 Massachusetts Childrens Book Awards
On
Friday, March 14th twenty-two students participated in the MCBA
(Massachusetts Children's Book Award) Reading Celebration. Students had
to read at least five books from the master list in order to be invited
to the party where they gobbled up pizza, talked about books, and voted
for their favorite title. Out of My Mind by Sharon Draper
received the most votes at the Morse School. This title also received
the most votes for the entire Cambridge Public School district. The
statewide 2014 MCBA winners will be announced on Monday, March 31st.
