Tie my ShoesAt the Morse we encourage all students to have a Growth Mindset. Having a Growth Mindset means knowing that our brains are constantly changing and developing, and believing that we can learn new things through hard work and persistence.

We asked some of our Junior Kindergarteners and Kindergarteners in Rooms A1, B6, B7, B8 & D6 to share how they “grew their brains” this past school year. Check out some of their accomplishments (in their own words):

  • Read books
  • Turn on the sink
  • Jump rope
  • Write my name
  • Tie my shoes
  • Draw a lion
  • Do the monkey bars
  • Color in the lines
  • Write numbers
  • Whistle
  • Ride a bike without training wheels
  • Climb a high rock wall

To see more “mind growing”, please stop by and view the B-Wing bulletin board (located on the ramp).
