Fifth graders at the Morse School just put on their first (hopefully annual) Poetry Show. With 20 poems performed by students and 15 teachers sharing beloved poems, the show was a smashing success! In the weeks leading up to the Poetry Show, 5th graders engaged in a series of poetry lessons during their Integrated Library & Technology block. These lessons taught students to understand how to break up their poems, articulate, speak with proper rate and voice level, and incorporate dramatization in order to bring poetry to life.
