Phew! It has been a busy week at Morse! As we get ready for April break, here are some highlights.

Morse 3rd Grade Rhythms & Stories
On Tuesday, April 28th our students and staff came together to watch our third grade students along with the World of Chibuzo drumming ensemble share what they learned from their drumming workshop. It was incredible to hear the West African rhythms and see the vibrant, joyful dancing.
If you would like to see this group please consider joining the Choose Love, Move Love free community social tomorrow.

5th Grade and 1st Grade Science Buddies
Are you curious about the sun, moon, and Earth? Well be sure to ask a Morse first or fifth grader! In 1st Grade, students studied astronomy through CKLA, while our 5th graders explored the patterns of the Sun-Earth-Moon system in science class. The two grades teamed up as "buddies" to share their Astronomy Journals and Our Place in Space presentations. It certainly was our Morse Code of active learning in action!
MCAS
Please remember that if a student is late to school on an MCAS testing day, they will not be permitted to enter the current session and will instead be scheduled to take the test during a designated make-up period.
