Dear Morse School Community,
We had a fabulous fall week at Morse. We have been enjoying the beautiful changing color outside the school and students have been busy inside.

Morse Community Live Stream
Our youngest learners took part in the Morse Mini-Marathon on Monday and the rain didn't stop their fun. We moved the event into the gym and the whole school enjoyed watching some highlights in our Live Stream this morning. We also learned about the Hindu Festival of Lights - Diwali from one of our third grade students and kindergarteners shared about the amazing learning experiences they had in their Community Unit.

Fall Data Retreats/WIN Block
Our grade level teams participated in Data Retreats earlier this month to review fall student data to determine next steps to support our students. Classes in grades K-5 have three-four WIN blocks per week. WIN stands for "What Individuals Need". During the WIN block, all students are working in small groups and not missing whole class instruction. It is an opportunity for students to receive additional support in literacy, math, social emotional learning, ELL services and also special education services as prescribed. Each grade level team reviews student data regularly and groupings change over the course of the year based on students’ needs and educator recommendations.
