Dear Morse School Community,
I can't believe we are concluding our first month of school in 2025! January was a month full of celebrations, holidays, and special events. In addition to our K-4 Winter Concert, we hosted our annual Gym Night, Fourth Graders completed their swimming session, Kindergarteners had a visit from some owls, we celebrated our Coady Award winners with a special dinner, and the First Grade classes had a special presentation on Wednesday for Lunar New Year.
Live Stream
This morning we recapped some of the fun January happenings mentioned above and also previewed plans for Black History Month. Our Student Council created a video on expectations in the cafeteria for the school which we shared. It was a good time for a reset and to remind students of what the Morse Code looks like in the cafeteria.
Girls on the Run for Grades 3-5
We have four coaches and twelve girls who have signed up. We are hoping to get to 20 students and will keep the registration open for one more week. The season will tentatively begin the week of March 30th and culminate with the regional Celebratory 5K tentatively on Saturday, May 31st, or Sunday, June 1st. Students will practice Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:45-4:15. This is a great way to build confidence, create healthy habits and social emotional skills in our girls. If your 3rd-5th grader is interested, please sign up using this QR code:
