Dear Morse School Community,
On behalf of all the staff, Kristin and I would like to thank families for honoring our amazing staff this week. Breakfast, plants, massages, notes of appreciation and our potluck lunch today were very much appreciated. We love your children and work hard every day to help them grow and be their best selves. Thank you for supporting our educators as they guide and nurture our students in their social and academic development each day. We are fortunate to have such a strong community that works as a team!

School Council Elections
The Morse School Council is a diverse representative team of staff members, community members and caregivers who serve in an advisory capacity to improve the school. They play an important role in adopting educational goals and identifying needs to support students in relation to the goals. They review and support the School Improvement Plan and contribute ideas to school based topics as they arise. Our current Council Members include:

Please check out this video to hear from some council caregivers (text translation available in bottom right hand corner). For the 2025-2026 school year, there will be two open parent/caregiver positions. If you are interested in being part of this team, we ask that you provide your name, a photo, and a brief statement of interest to our Family Liaison, Amy Diaz ([email protected]) by May 15th. The Friends of Morse will manage the election process and families can vote between May 18th - 30th.

District and School Culture Survey
The District and School Culture Survey (formerly known as the District and School Climate Survey) is open! The survey provides an opportunity for you, along with staff and Morse students (grades 3-5), to tell us how we are doing.
The survey asks for your feedback on school culture, feelings of belonging, as well as other topic areas related to our school and district’s vision and core values. Your feedback will be used to inform decisions about school improvement efforts. The survey is anonymous and you will be able to take the online survey from May 5th to May 30th. Last year, we had almost 100% participation and we are looking to hear from all of you!
