Message from Samantha Headley: November 7, 2025

Dear Morse School Community,

We have had a fabulous first week of November at Morse! A quick reminder from two of our adorable preschoolers to have your child check the lost and found for any missing items. The rack is getting full and we'd love for all the items to find their way back to their rightful owners. Please think about writing your child's name on the tag inside their sweaters and coats. This will help with keeping track of missing belongings.

Also, the weather is chilly these days and we ask families to send their children in with coats. Also, as hard as it might be for some kids to receive, it is also time to put the shorts in the drawer and break out the long pants. If your child is really stuck on wearing shorts, performance tights underneath are a good compromise.

Morse Community Live Stream

On this morning's Live Stream, we highlighted the significance of Veterans Day. It was wonderful to have Maree and Bastian share their experience as a Navy Family. Please click here to see the video. In addition to Andria and Moh, we want to thank our own Fourth Grade Paraprofessional, Ms. Juana Gayle-Flores, for her service in the United States Army.

International Festival & Potluck

On November 14th from 6:00-8:00pm our school community will celebrate our yearly International Festival & Potluck Celebration. In order to highlight and acknowledge our school’s diversity and the many rich cultures and traditions that make our school special, we are inviting each Morse School family to design your own family flag! You can do it ahead of time or you and your family can complete it during the celebration.

FMS is in search of volunteers for the Morse School’s annual International Festival & Potluck! Please take a look at the many volunteer opportunities or create your own! There are so many ways to get involved. Feel free to reach out to Hannah Hinzman with questions [email protected].  Here is the VOLUNTEER SIGN-UP.
