Dear Morse School Community,
It's getting colder outside! As the temperatures drop, we ask that all students come to school each day with a coat and other cold weather gear. If your child has misplaced their coat, check the lost and found. Adding a name to the label or tag of any clothing is helpful in returning the missing item to its owner. There are way too many coats missing their owners!
International Festival & Potluck
Tonight is the night! Please join us from 6-8PM as our school community celebrates our yearly International Festival & Potluck Celebration. In order to highlight and acknowledge our school’s diversity and the many rich cultures and traditions that make our school special, we are inviting each Morse School family to design your own family flag! If you were not able to do it ahead of time, you and your family can complete it during the celebration.

Morse Community Live Stream
On this morning's Live Stream, we announced our Morse Student Council representatives. The Morse Student Council will consist of students from 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. These students will represent all of the students in our school community which is tremendously diverse. Everyone’s thoughts, opinions, and ideas are important to our school community.
Next, we highlighted Ms. Jeannette Sarmanian, our Physical Therapy Assistant. Ms. Jeannette has been training for 15 years in Martial Arts and has one black belt. She is currently using self-discipline and perseverance to earn a Dojo black belt in four different styles. Thank you Ms. Jeannette for sharing how the Morse Core Values of being responsible and an active learner are helping you to achieve your goals.
Best of luck to our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students participating in the Girls on the Run 5K this Sunday. We look forward to hearing about how they met their goals and celebrated a fantastic fall season.
Morse Caregiver Literacy Workshop
Join us on November 19th from 6-7PM in the Morse Library for an evening filled with grammar and vocabulary! Caregivers will take away some playful activities to encourage language development at home. This workshop is designed to support our family engagement goals of supporting students at home and building a stronger partnership with school. Child care is available. Please register here.
