Literacy for Learning

Hello Morse Families!
We know many of you have been asking for ways to support your children’s academic growth at home. That’s why we look forward to seeing you in the morning or evening on Tuesday, February 28th in the Morse School Library for our second family workshop “Literacy for Learning.” Our Literacy Leadership Team is excited to show you the many ways your children use their literacy skills to study science and social studies here at school, and we’re pleased to offer you lots of easy and effective ways to help your children at home.
This year we’re holding TWO workshop sessions in order to accommodate all of the families who are so anxious to learn this helpful information. The workshops will be held the week right after break on Tuesday, February 28th. The first session will take place from 8:30 - 9:30AM in the morning, and the second session will take place later the same day from 6 - 7PM in the evening. Childcare will be available for the evening presentation. We’ll be offering light refreshments and a door prize at both times. The two sessions will cover the same material, so come to the one that works best for you! See you February 28th!
