Winter Musical Concerts

On Friday, January 13th Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten students shared an exciting winter concert. The musical selections showcased their music learning so far this year including moving expressively, tuneful singing, creating steady beat, and understanding musical opposites.
1st through 4th grade students shared their musical learning in a winter concert on Tuesday, January 24th. 1st and 2nd graders showed off their skills singing two traditional folk songs and a round in two parts. 3rd and 4th graders also sang beautifully paying tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. 4th graders wowed the audience with their recorder playing after studying the instrument just a few short months! The concert ended with the choral singing of the Morse Morning Singers, a before school group now in it's second year.
All students demonstrated energy and poise on stage for a captivated audience. Thanks to all who helped support this performance. Congratulations to all the amazing student musicians!
